Hi there, this is Dayana, also known as Chantara! I’m a reggaeton artist based in Los Angeles. Coming from a multicultural family, I grew up speaking five languages in my household. I was born in Long Island, New York and raised in East Los Angeles since I was two. Being an only child in my family, I found solace and peace in music. Growing up, I would spend time writing my own songs, and I would play guitar in my free time. I listened to latin pop growing up which led to that genre becoming my strongest influence in my music. My music is a fusion of elements that coexist in the same place, in one song. In August 2023, I turned my focus from pop to reggaeton. You can check out my music (under Chantara) on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and every digital platform.
Academically speaking, I earned my Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from Cal State East Bay. Outside of music, I love checking out new movies, going to the beach, trying different foods and hanging out with my friends and family. I also like to travel. I have traveled and lived in multiple countries over the years. Life is an adventure and live life to the fullest! In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take! Focus on positivity and make a difference along the way✨
